Current Students with Accessibility Services
Now that you have had your Welcome Meeting, it is important to maintain contact with your accessibility counselor should you have any questions or concerns about your accommodations. Please do not hesitate to do so by contacting your counselor directly, or our main office at 510-885-3868 or as@csueastbay.edu.
If you have general questions about using your accommodations, or would like to get more information about campus resources, please reach out to our Student Ambassadors at asambassadors@csueastbay.edu.
If you have a temporary disability (i.e., broken extremity, other injury, pregnancy, illness) that may last from a few weeks to a semester, you may be eligible for other academic accommodations.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 ("Title IX"), 20 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq., is a Federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex - including pregnancy and parental status - in educational programs and activities. Read more about AVÀÇ's pregnancy policies here.
The AS Portal
Accessibility Services (AS) has transitioned from Accommodate to the AS Portal. Students can use the AS Portal to notify faculty and the AS Accommodation Coordinators when they plan to use an accommodation in a particular course, track the status of their accommodations, and schedule appointments with the Accessibility Counselor. The AS Portal will continue to be refined and developed, and students will be updated as new features become available.
How-to videos and guides can be found on our AS Portal page.
