You may apply as a First Time Freshman if you will have a high school diploma and have not enrolled at any college or university beyond the summer immediately following your high school graduation.

Below is a summary of undergraduate admission requirements for students with U.S transcripts, international transcripts, or a combination of both.

SAT/ACT

If you have taken the exam, it is useful for English and Math placement. Also if you have competitive scores, you may qualify for the Global Excellence Scholarship.

If you have taken "O" level examinations, CSUEB requires that five subjects are passed in one sitting or the same year, including Math and English (English as an ESL is not acceptable). Certified copies of "O" level examinations must be sent directly to CSUEB from the testing service or attested by your school; scores sent by the applicant are not official.

Students from West Africa may submit the results of the WASSC.  CSUEB requires that five subjects are passed in one sitting or the same year, including Math and English (English as an ESL is not acceptable).

If your studies were in the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum program, please submit your school transcripts for evaluation. You will be required to complete four years of English and three years of mathematics and earn a passing score of "C-" or higher.

CSUEB may award college credit for minimum scores of 3 on the  exams or a minimum of 50 on the .

British Curriculum General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Levels (A-Levels) CSUEB may award college credit of up to 24-semester units if you pass "A" level and/or "AS" level examinations, these exams with a "C-" or higher. CSUEB must receive "A" and "AS" level examination scores directly from the Board of Examinations. Scores sent by you or certified statements of exam results are not acceptable.
Indian Curriculum All India Senior School Certificate Examination (CBSE) CSUEB may award college credit of up to 30-semester units if you pass CBSE examinations with a score of A1 or A2.
International Baccalaureate (IB) IB Higher Level Exams CSUEB may award college credit for those earning scores of 4 or higher on the , 

Note: The final transcript evaluation for academic credit will be done at the time of matriculation.

We accept the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT version or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic version of the exams.TOEFL Essentials, IELTS General Training, PTE, or Duolingo English tests are not accepted.

Demonstrate 3 years of full-time academic study in one of the following countries where the language of instruction was English as accepted by AVÀÇ.

AVÀÇ offers conditional admission for undergraduate programs to students who are academically qualified but have not met the English proficiency requirement at the time of application. These students are issued a conditional admission letter to AVÀÇ and are required to attend the Global Academy Intensive English Program until they meet the language requirement (IELTS or TOEFL).
