Sponsoring Agencies (E.G. IREX, IIE, AED)
Annually, CSUEB cost-shares with sponsoring agencies, such as AED, IREX and IIE, to bring outstanding undergraduate and graduate students to study the United States. These students are recipients of prestigious grants such as Fulbright and Muskie. They actively contribute to the internationalization of CSU East Bay adding international perspectives to CSUEB classrooms and the community.
The Center for International Education (CIE) is the primary contact for such programs. The CIE acts as a liaison with the Admissions Office and with the Accounting Office to provide third party billing services. The CIE also incorporates such students in an orientation program for international students and assists students in navigating the CSUEB community.
